Glittering Gala Dinner
The Banqueting House in Whitehall was the venue for the glittering gala dinner to end the very successful IHA Centenary Congress (18th-21st September). Hundreds of delegates dined beneath the famed Rubens ceiling before dancing the night away to the Beatles.
On the night, the presidents of the CHA, L&SCIA, BHF Group and IHA brought extra glitter to the evening with their array of historic chains of office.
A charity appeal raised £1,600 for the Rainy Day Trust.
John Poore, of Poores of Chorleywood, was awarded the BHF Group's highest honour, that of Honorary Member.
